Update #11: Since we’re sharing. . .

Hey everybody!

Holy cow! You’re killing it! Keep up the momentum!

With just one day left on the Shadowrun Returns Kickstarter, the energy you’re projecting into our little closet is absolutely crackling. (Thanks, we need it!)

In his fireside chat video update, Jordan waxed poetic about your personal Shadowrun stories and how they’ve inspired us. So much, that our normally camera-shy team members (and couple of our friends) were compelled to share some of their Shadowrun stories with you.

So while you’ve been pushing the project closer and closer to $1.75m and we’ve been crunching to finish our latest game, our friends at Bootstrapper Studios edited together this little ditty.

Again, we thank you for your incredible support in the closing hours of this amazing adventure.

Nice to see, we got the 1.75 Mio. USD stretch goal. Can’t wait until the first in-game imagery shows up.

Just some random thought: will backers get an early beta test (or at least the chance for that), like the closed betas a certain other studio is doing for great promotional and quality gain?

P.S.: I sent you guys an e-mail about a PayPal f**k-up (they gave you the wrong shipping address while they showed me – until the confirmation e-mail – the right one, the receipt shown on the last step still showed the correct address (see the PDF in the e-mail)) and didn’t receive even an ack, that you got the message… I know it’s lots of work for you guys, and there are probably tons of e-mails incoming, but it’d be really nice to at least get an acknowledgement. Thanks.

Congratulations on hitting your final stretch goal…on Thursday I was pretty sure it wasn’t going to happen, and I’m very happy I was wrong!

…I can’t help but notice that with an expected release in January, you’re waiting til AFTER the Awakening just in case.

I was completely unaware of this project as never in my wildest dreams did I expect another ‘good’ Shadowrun game to be made! I’m absolutely overjoyed, to say the least… It’s honestly the best videogame news I could ever hope to hear! I grew up playing the Genesis and SNES games, the SNES being the far superior version of the two… the futuristic, cyber-punk atmosphere was unparalleled and the music by Marshall Parker fit perfectly with that vision. In fact, his tracks are so good I even ripped myself a soundtrack.

I’m so glad it’s still possible to donate to the project and more importantly, that I discovered this news sooner than later… THANK YOU Harebrained Schemes, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!!

Keep safe in the shadows chummers! 😉

I’m stoked beyond description: First Wasteland 2, now THIS!!! What a great time to be a gamer!

Hey, if this goes well, I gotta say: we’ve needed a good Battletech RPG for DECADES. Mechwarrior is all well and good, but I’ve really wanted to see more of the B-tech universe than just in a ‘mech, and there are many millions of cubic feet of top-notch role-playing possibilities!

Out of curiosity William, why do you think the SNES version was far superior? I played both, but much preferred the Genesis one.
